Mesquite, NV-

Yesterday morning, July 13, 2022, at approximately 5:00 am (4:00 am Pacific), a person with a motorcycle helmet on broke into the Polaris Can-Am Honda World business located at 991 Hillside Drive on the Nevada and Arizona border, stealing a dirt bike. The suspect shot out multiple windows with a handgun, exited out a front window, and drove off with the dirt motorcycle.

The theft was caught on security cameras and the Mohave County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information pertaining to the theft of the recreational vehicle and the identification of the suspect. To help with the case, Polaris Can-Am Honda World is offering a $3,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for the theft and vandalism done to the local business.

The stolen dirt bike is a red and white 2022 Honda CRF 450.

The MCSD stated in the media release, “It is believed that shortly after the burglary, the suspect may have crashed the bike, then continued on. The suspect involved may have minor injuries related to the crash and the dirt bike may have been damaged.”
