Happy Independence Day Mesquite, Nevada, and surrounding communities. Below is a schedule of local events for the weekend and holiday, including information, costs, age restrictions, and more.

July 2nd:

8:00 pm – The Rum Runners at Casablanca Skydome Lounge in Casablanca Resort and Casino, 950 W. Mesquite Blvd, Mesquite, NV. Free (21+). Classic Rock and Blues Concert.

July 3rd:

7:00 am – 2022 Red, White, and Blue Golf Classic Tournament. Shotgun Tee-Off at Palms Golf Club, 550 Peppermill Palms Blvd, Littlefield, AZ. 4-Person Scramble. Tournament full. Spectators welcome.

July 4th:

7:30 am – 2022 Summertime Blues Star-Spangled Banner Shamble – Shotgun Tee-Off at Oasis Signature Palmer Course, 100 Palmer Lane. Registration at 6:30 am. Tournament full. Spectators welcome.

8:00 am – R.A.I.S.E. is hosting “A Wheely Good Time” Patriotic Decorating Contest and Parade. The event will be starting at 8:00 am on the West Field of the Mesquite Recreation Center at 100 W Old Mill Road. Decorate your bike, scooter, wagon, or wheelchair and win prizes. Prizes include Bikes, Scooters, Kids Wagon, and Jordan Davis Concert Tickets. All ages.

10:00 am – Free Swim Day! Mesquite Rec Center Pool will be open for swimming from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm and will also have poolside fun, including water bounce houses, a dunk tank, water balloon games, prizes, drawing, music, and more. All ages.

11:00 am – Virgin River Bingo 4th of July Special Session. All “Independence Day” Ball (B4) Bingos are worth $1,000. Double Pay for winners. $500 Guaranteed Coverall. Free 4th of July Bingo Daubers. Virgin River Resort and Casino Bingo Lounge, located at 100 E. Pioneer Blvd in Mesquite. 21+ event.

4:00 pm-8:00 pm – All American BBQ Buffet at Town Square Buffet inside Eureka Resort and Casino. 275 Mesa Blvd. $16.99 per person. $14.99 for Gold Card Members.

6:30 pm – 2022 Summertime Blue Star-Spangled Banner Shamble Awards and Party. There will be a B.B.Q. Feast Buffet with live entertainment provided by the local favorite band, Mesquite Café Blues Band. $30 for dinner and party fee. Adults only!

7:00 pm – Virgin River Bingo 4th of July Special Session. All “Independence Day” Ball (B4) Bingos are worth $1,000. Double Pay for winners. $500 Guaranteed Coverall. Free 4th of July Bingo Daubers. Virgin River Resort and Casino Bingo Lounge, located at 100 E. Pioneer Blvd in Mesquite. 21+ event.

9:00 pm – Rockets Over Red Mesa Fireworks Show at the Eureka Resort and Casino. 275 Mesa Blvd. Bring your own chairs. Tailgate event. No Fires or cooking. Patriotic Accompaniment will be on FM 88.1. Set-up behind Casino. All ages.

July 5th: (For Those Still Celebrating)

10:30 am – Ice Cream Bowl Camp at the Painted Hippo located at 312 W. Mesquite Blvd. People get to paint their own ceramic ice cream bowls. Costs vary. Call The Painted Hippo for more info at (702) 344-5022.

6:00 pm – John Brooks From Memphis to Vegas Elvis Tribute at Casablanca Skydome Lounge in Casablanca Resort and Casino, 950 W. Mesquite Blvd, Mesquite, NV. Free (21+). Elvis Music Performance.
