Recently the term “A threat to Democracy” has been heard on several news channels and in statements by leading democratic politicians but what does that mean? It means, do it my way or you are the threat. You must believe what we say or you are a threat whether it be climate change, mask-wearing, or abortion. You must go along or you are a threat that must be silenced because these are settled issues and everyone agrees.

No more dissent because the Paris Climate Accords say it is the absolute truth and must be believed and we must follow. Masking protected us and if we need to do it again to now protect us, we must comply. Then there is the “right to choose” in which regardless of your beliefs, the mother has the right to kill her baby. If you do not subscribe to these beliefs, you are a threat to democracy.

In our democracy, everyone has a right to be heard and to a speedy trial if they are accused of some crime, except for a few hundred who are held in prison without trial. There are fences around our government building with armed troops to keep the people out. They claim an insurrection without guns, how strange, but believe it or you are an enemy of the state.

Almost the same things were happening before the civil war. President Lincoln said “Your purpose, then plainly stated, is that you will destroy the Government unless you are allowed to construe and enforce the Constitution as you please…”. Is this what they want, “our way or the highway?”

The recent democratic statements about the Constitution’s amendments, the first; nothing is absolute and it can be changed for the good of the country. The second must be changed because nobody has the right to have arms to protect themself, we will do that, (but who will protect us from you?). Or maybe the Sixth amendment: A constitutional amendment designed to protect individuals accused of crimes. It includes the right to counsel, the right to confront witnesses, and the right to a speedy and public trial.

All of these things are pointing to something going on but what is it? Things that are scary are Nancy is in charge of guarding the capital and the last time she refused to call out the guard to protect against a Trump rally. Maybe next the Democrats lose the coming election and they claim fraud and she then calls out the guard to protect the Democrats from the voters.

Results? Riots in the streets and the Government must be protected at all costs! The democrats say we will turn it over when it is safe and we can verify the election results. In the meantime, we call out the troops and fence in the capital.

The single question the Democrats ask is, why have we not disarmed the people already? They still have guns! The people are the real threat to Democracy; they just do not understand our progressive policies.
