On May 21, 2022 the Women’s History and Culture Center hosted a spring tea. Women of all ages attended and enjoyed delicious tea, treats, and conversation. The volunteer members of WHCC baked scones, made sandwiches, and provided excellent service to everyone who attended. Reservations were required for this event and were made by emailing whccmesquitenv@gmail.com. You can also contact the organization through this email for more information about upcoming events. For the Spring Tea, women were asked to decorate hats and wear them for an opportunity to win in three categories: Day at the Races, Cute as a Button, and Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Winners received a basket with a tea pot and cups, various teas, and treats.
