Mesquite, NV, May 30th, 2:00 pm Pacific-
Memorial Day Weekend is hit with another accident on Interstate 15. This time it is in the Northbound Lanes at mm 117 involving a semi and possible other passenger vehicles. The Nevada Highway Patrol has shut down Northbound at mm 112 Bunkerville Exit and rerouted vehicles through Bunkerville and Mesquite to get back on at Exit 122 Pioneer Blvd.

Currently, the correct information about the incident is being confirmed and will be released later. Breaking News and more will be released when more information is available.
EXPECT MAJOR DELAYS UNTIL THE ACCIDENT IS CLEARED UP!
Expect traffic to be bad from 10 am until 10 pm. The worst times are approximately around noon to 5 pm. At those times, expect about an hour delay.

Other than the accident, there are only small slowdowns in work zones for Southbound and major backed-up traffic at the Virgin River Bridge Project at Beaver Dam/Littlefield on the Southbound side.
Things may change as it is Memorial Day. Also, they were not allowing any cars back on the Northbound onramp at Littlefield yesterday. Today we received a report they are allowing cars on there, but that may change. Old Hwy 91 has been extremely busy this weekend.
Weather predictions are in the 90s. Make plans to have plenty of water and gasoline for the extra time. Also, check your tires.
The best times to travel with less traffic are early in the morning before 8:00 am PST and in the evenings after 10:00 pm PST.
