According to Adam Schefter of ESPN as well as a couple of other reputable sports reporters, the word is that former San Francisco 49ers Quarterback and current activist, Colin Kaepernick will be practicing with the Las Vegas Raiders today, Wednesday.

This will be the first time he will do a practice or tryout since November of 2019 when he held a private practice for NFL teams and scouts at a small high school, Charles R. Drew High School in Riverdale, Georgia. This was 44 miles away from the Atlanta Falcons facilities where he was supposed to hold the practice but at the last minute changed it, leaving the NFL upset as they claimed they “bent backward” for the former player.

He has not played in the NFL since 2016 when he was a Quarterback with the 49ers and started his activist role of protesting police violence by taking a knee during the national anthem. Since then, he has not been able to play in the NFL and has had multiple controversies regarding his stances and his behavior.

Some of the other reporters, reporting the shunned Quarterback taking snaps with the Raiders includes Ian Rapoport of NFL Insider and confirmed by the Las Vegas Raiders.

This is breaking news so updates will be done as information is received.
