The Pahrump Trojans had no chance as the Lady Dawgs were absolutely domineering on both offense and defense. The flawless pitching by Price resulted in 8 K and only 1 BB and 1 error away from a perfect game. No hits were allowed with no offensive action for the Trojans.
Due to the mercy rule, the game was called after 3 innings as the Bulldogs were up by 15 runs. The fifteen runs were started off in the first inning with 5 runs, followed by a consistent showing of 4 runs scored in the second and then 6 runs scored in the third.
The offensive exemplary momentum by the Dawgs was expressed by the fact that 5 players with a perfect 1.00 Batting Average. The Lady Dawgs who accomplished this feat included Riley Price, Ari Easton, Brooklyn Montoya, Evia Toone, and Ana Tausinga.
Riley Price had a strong performance on offense as well as her domination of pitching. She was 2 out of 2 at the plate knocking in 4 RBIs and scoring 1 run herself. She nailed a home run to assist with the RBIs.

The Lady Dawgs have only played the Eagles once before in a nail-biter on March 23rd. The Dawgs won 4-3. The Eagles are 8-0 in League play and 15-10 season record while the Lady Dawgs are 13-0 in League play and 31-1 in-season record. However, the season record for the Eagles does not tell the true story as they started the season rough but were absolutely perfect at the end of the season, running on an 11-game-winning streak. The Lady Dawgs are on a 29-game winning streak.
Other game results in the Regional tournament include the Consolation bracket as the tournament is a double-elimination tournament. Moapa Valley now plays SLAM Nevada who killed Sunrise Mountain 18-3. Pahrump Valley plays Clark who also killed their opponent, Desert Pines by a score of 20-10.
