A red flag wind warning was issued yesterday for Mother’s Day. The wind is currently blowing at 26 mph with gusts up to 60 mph. The wind warning will be in effect until 11:00 pm PST. The winds will be blowing from the West to the Southwest direction.

In Nevada…Fire weather zones 460, 461, 462, 463, 464, 465, and 466.
The weather will be a nice high of 86°F today with a low of 85°F. It is predicted to be sunny and clear but windy, according to The Weather Channel. So as you do the Mother’s Day cookout, be cautious with any flame or fire.
