The witnesses and finders of the human remains discovered in Calville Bay inside Lake Mead National Park have released photographs of the second set of human remains to be found in Lake Mead National Park within a week.

The human remains were discovered at about 2:00 pm PST on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Unlike the first set of remains, these were not in a barrel or within the water but buried.

Calville Bay is about 47 miles from Overton, Nevada, and 31 miles from E Lake Mead in Las Vegas, NV. Calville Bay is about 31 miles from Hemenway Harbor where the first human remains inside a barrel were found on Sunday, May 1st by the Hollister family who was boating there.
The pictures were released through KTNV 13 (ABC) News of Las Vegas.
The LVMPD has not released a statement yet concerning the remains.
This is an open investigation and as such, more information will be released as it is received.
