What is happening to our country? Everywhere we look things are falling apart, and now the integrity of our Supreme court has been breached. As someone looks around the price of food is up everywhere, gas going through the roof and now even the foundations of our country are being undermined. Crime is up, unknown people are flowing over our border, and police are being targeted for assassination.
Billions of dollars are sent overseas to fight a proxy war, but our needs at home are being overlooked. When I see veterans having homes built for them by charities it shows “the people” have it right but the government has done very little for those that protected us. Programs that cost millions and even billions do not do the job and the money goes, who knows where. The billions that were supposed to protect our children from COV 19 were used to build golf courses and provide all sorts of money to everyone with a handout regardless if it had anything to do with protecting anyone. On late-night T.V. there was a comedian who said having the government hand out money was like using a leaky bucket. In the case of their latest proposals, they forget the bucket and are just using the handle. And that seems to be the way things are going.
Almost everywhere we look, things are falling apart, our society is breaking down and fast. In the last 16 months, things have been going downhill except for prices. Free speech is attacked and gun builders are attacked for so-called ghost guns. So instead of keeping people in jail for crimes, we are letting them out. Does anyone think letting criminals out of jail reduces crime? Oh, one more thing, let’s make stronger gun control laws so citizens cannot protect themselves
from the bad guys who are going to have guns anyway.
Voting is a big question after the last election, a person who lived in his basement got so many votes. There just may have been a little funny stuff going on like people delivering loads of ballots to an unattended “dropbox.” It May have all been on the up and up but does anyone other than a few activists demand “Drop Boxes?” Just makes most of us wonder. Clams about an overthrow attempt on January 6th, but does anyone try to take over a government without guns? Only the government guys and gals had the guns. And where are the legal trials for these people? What happened to our “entitled to a speedy trial” some of these people are still being held without bail. Does anyone think that guy with the dopey horns on his cap was going to take over the government? Yet the rioters from the summer before
have not had any trials either, but that is because they let them go except for a young white boy who shot a rioter in self-defense.
All and all, things are going to hell in a handbasket. Inflation, crime, and border security. Money is being printed like toilet paper and soon that will be what it is worth. Welcome to total Democratic rule. The smartest people are telling the masses how to think, live, and pay and pay.

Mike Young has been writing opinion articles for most of his life, having been published in multiple periodicals. He is the author of numerous articles and a book on Public Speaking. A member of President Bush’s task force on infrastructure protection for water and power systems, he is presently on the Board of Trustees for Overton Power District #5 as the Secretary/Treasurer. He currently resides in Mesquite, NV.
Per the New York Times extensive study of the Tucker Carlson Show, Tucker’s MO is scaring the hell out of you and others who are under educated. There is crime every where even though the stats say the opposite. Millions are storming the border but he has zero proof. The Mike’s of the country are easily manipulated just like the citizens of Germany in the 1930’s. You can believe in the tooth fairy but for gods sake, do not send money to Trump. How much have you sent Mike?
For David Petrillo, David; you are drinking the Kool Aide on CNN, or you need to come out of your CAVE. We the people know what crazy is when we see it!!
It’s difficult to nail down a precise definition for mental incompetence. But I know it when I see it— like when the President of the United States sticks his arm out to shake hands with thin air, then bumbles around stage like a lost puppy.
Similarly, we all know crazy when we see it.
For example, when AOC cackles about Socialism, Bernie Sanders praises Cuba, the media calls flaming riots “mostly peaceful”, and Nancy Pelosi makes a tiny circle with her thumb and index finger to pronounce that a multi-trillion dollar spending bill will “cost nothing”… we all know that’s crazy. We know it when we see it.
The crazies have been out recently howling against Elon Musk’s deal to buy Twitter.
The woke mob (on Twitter, of course) is outraged that a billionaire will be in control of a social media company.
Curiously they had no problem when billionaire Jack Dorsey was in control of Twitter. Or when Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal was one of the largest shareholders.
It’s perfectly fine for them that billionaire Mark Zuckerberg owns Facebook, and billionaire Jeff Bezos bought the Washington Post.
(Furthermore, no one has bothered to explain why it is so bad for billionaires to control media platforms. Are poor people the only ones qualified to own companies?)
Ironically, all Elon wants is to provide a free and open platform; Musk even said that he hopes even his “worst critics remain on Twitter, because that is what free speech means.”
But that’s not good enough for the woke mob, including Robert Reich— former US Labor Secretary under President Bill Clinton.
Reich recently published a letter entitled, “Elon Musk’s vision for the internet is dangerous nonsense.”
Think about that: free speech is dangerous, and it is nonsense.
Reich absurdly claimed “Musk has long advocated a libertarian vision of an ‘uncontrolled’ internet. That’s also the dream of every dictator, strongman and demagogue.”
Come again? Free speech and an open Internet is literally the opposite of what dictators want.
Reich even wrote that Vladimir Putin shares Musk’s vision for transparency. Putin. A guy who built a kill-switch into Russia’s Internet infrastructure to make sure he can censor anything.
Now, crazy is difficult to define… but we know it when we see it. And Robert Reich’s comments are obviously crazy.
(The Guardian must have realized that they had published the musings of a crazy person, and they later toned down Reich’s article. But thanks to Web Archive, Reich’s original craziness did not disappear down the memory hole of the Internet.
Reich is far from alone.
MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski once mused that Elon’s growing social media influence was dangerous, because “he could actually control exactly what people think. And that is our job.”
Yes, she said that out loud (you can watch the clip for yourself): it’s HER damn job to control how people think. Bow down to your intellectual overlord!!
Once again, we know crazy when we see it. And Mika Brzezinski is obviously crazy.
These crazies have monopolized public discourse and relentlessly waged cultural jihad on western civilization for several years.
And when they took control of the US federal government in 2020, the crazies truly thought that they had won.
It was from this arrogance that they felt confident enough to take off the gloves and unleash their full crazy show.
This is what we’ve been watching for the past two years— a full blown circus orgy of crazy. We know crazy when we see it, and we see it every day.
These crazies were put in charge of the economy, public health, criminal justice, education, and more. And the results have clearly been disastrous.
Now they’re coming up with lame excuses for their failures, like calling inflation the “Putin price hike”, as if voters are gullible enough to believe such obvious crazy talk.
We the People may be dumb… but we’re not stupid. And we know crazy when we see it.
Frankly this is why Elon’s Twitter deal is so important: as a self-proclaimed “free speech absolutist”, he wants to give crazy people an open platform to be seen and heard.
Let the crazies talk. Everyone needs to see it for themselves.
Honestly there’s virtually no upside for him in this deal. Even if Twitter somehow becomes a smashing success, it’s not like his life is going to improve.
So he’s taking a huge financial risk and sacrificing a great deal of time from his other companies, and from his family.
And for what? To make Twitter less shitty, and to give all the crazies on all sides a way to showcase their insanity for the world to see.
There’s an old saying that, in a truly free market, “the cure for high prices is high prices.”
In other words, when, say, oil prices spike, the free market compels companies to explore for more oil, drill more, and produce more. The high prices create a profit incentive for more production.
Eventually those high prices encourage so much production that the market becomes oversupplied… and prices fall. So high prices cure high prices.
Similarly, the cure for crazy is crazy.
Give the crazies a platform, let them keep talking, and watch the disaster unfold.
The more they say, the more they discredit and embarrass themselves, and the weaker they become.
It’s one of the most important reasons why free speech should prevail. No wonder they’re against it.
To your freedom
David; my guess is you were watching CNN and missed this when it was posted last month, Because y ou always bring up Donald Trump, here is your best buddy. Joe Biden
March 1, 2022
My fellow Americans.
Now that my approval ratings are roughly at the same level as my blood pressure, i.e. barely detectable, and my credibility is nonexistent, I thought I might actually try being honest for a change about the real State of the Union.
Just over a year ago when I took oath of office, I talked about “the common objects we love that define us as Americans. . . Opportunity. Security. Liberty. Dignity. Respect. Honor. And yes, the truth.”
So let me describe to you the State of our Union in those terms:
First, opportunity.
Under my leadership, inflation has reached a 40+ year high and shows no signs of abating.
I’ve also demonstrated how serious I am about fighting inflation by re-appointing the very same Federal Reserve officials who created the inflation to begin with, to another four-year term.
Further, the supply chain crisis we engineered from our cascading failures of labor policy, environmental policy, trade policy, monetary policy, and public health policy, also shows little sign of resolving.
We’ve also been instrumental in destroying the labor market and making it virtually impossible to find workers.
Plus my administration continues to impose new regulations by the day, threaten new taxes, and put out unintelligible public health policies, that make things especially difficult for small and medium-sized businesses.
But at least Pfizer’s profits are at a record high.
Second, security.
Our southern border was overwhelmed with countless migrants almost literally the moment I took office. We continue to ignore this growing crisis.
Similarly, we choose to ignore soaring rates of murder in America’s cities.
As Commander-in-Chief, I ordered the US military to hastily withdraw from Afghanistan without sufficient time to make adequate preparations. As a result, the entire world witnessed one of the most disgraceful, shameful events in US history as we left behind our citizens, our allies, and tens of billions of dollars of taxpayer-funded military equipment to our sworn enemy.
I tried making up for this personal and national humiliation by trying to outmaneuver Vladimir Putin over Ukraine.
My son Hunter and I obviously have a soft spot for Ukraine. But my real priority was using Putin’s military buildup as an opportunity to appear strong again, and hopefully boost my sagging poll numbers.
Despite my years of foreign policy experience, I failed to foresee the consequences of provoking Putin, pushing him into a corner, and essentially daring him to invade.
(And now, by the way, as we are pushing Russia out of the SWIFT international banking platform, I am also failing to foresee the obvious risk of Putin hacking it. But more on that another time…)
You may recall that, while I was hiding in my basement during the 2020 Presidential campaign, I promised voters a “steady hand” when it came to diplomacy and national security.
Well, this is what 5 decades of government experience gets you.
Third, liberty.
We continue to foster a climate where the government tells you what you’re supposed to believe, what you have to put in your body, and how you’re allowed to educate your children.
We think nothing of imposing illegal, unconstitutional mandates, and handing public health bureaucrats the authority to regulate everything from nationwide commerce to the entire US housing market.
Justin Trudeau recently set a fantastic example for us to follow when it comes to individual freedom, and so we’re working hard to become Canada as quickly as possible.
Fourth, dignity and respect.
I promised the American people unity in my inaugural address. I said that “we must end this uncivil war that pits red against blue, rural versus urban, conservative versus liberal.”
Naturally I have completely abandoned that promise. Not only have I failed to rein in the intolerant, out-of-control leftist puritans waging cultural genocide across America, but I set a clear example for them by labeling my ideological opponents as White Supremacists.
I call legislation I don’t like “Jim Crow 2.0”. And I encourage federal police agencies to investigate parents who don’t want Critical Race Theory taught to their children in public schools.
Fifth, honor.
My short time in office has brought extreme dishonor upon the reputation of the United States. In addition to the humiliation in Afghanistan, the rest of the world must be in shock as they see the constant chaos and absurdity of our government.
We are more consumed by pronouns than progress. We publicly embrace Marxist ideologies. We push our intelligence agencies to prioritize diversity and inclusion over national security. We deliberately undercut our ally—the French—to do a submarine deal with Australia that provided absolutely zero benefit to our nation.
And just recently our public debt reached a whopping $30 trillion… which hardly brings any honor or esteem to our nation.
Last but not least, truth.
I told Americans last year during my inauguration that “each of us has a duty and responsibility, as citizens, as Americans. . . to defend the truth and to defeat the lies.”
That’s why my administration has worked diligently to suppress free speech. We believe that #science has only one authority figure, and anyone who disagrees with his eminence, Lord Protector Fauci, is guilty of misinformation.
For that reason we enlisted the support of Big Tech to remove posts and terminate user accounts upon our request.
We claim that we love democracy so much, yet we continue to assert federal control over state and local elections. One of our goals is to squash any state law requiring voters to present valid identification before being allowed to cast their ballots.
Requiring identification would help reduce voter fraud and increase election security. But we like voter fraud… so we’re opposed to any identification requirement and label them as racist.
We also rely on the mainstream media, which absurdly claims to be objective and unbiased, to reinforce our ridiculous propaganda. They do so willingly and voluntarily, refraining from holding me accountable or asking any difficult questions whatsoever.
This, my fellow Americans, is the real State of our Union.
(Tonight, however, I’m going to tell a bunch of pathetic lies that no one will believe about what a great job I’m doing.)
And if you feel a bit down about the State of our Union, just remember– I’ll still be President for another 3 years, We have a looooong way to go.
To your freedom,
David, please look at official border numbers
FY17 FY18 FY19 FY20 FY21 FY22YTD
