The Mesquite Spring Festival is starting today at 10:00 am PST, at the Mesquite Parks and Recreation Center at 100 E. Old Mill Road. The Spring Festival has expected 70 Vendors with options for a wide variety of items and products, including art and crafts from local artists.

The Mesquite Spring Festival is sponsored by the Mesquite Republican Women and there will be candidates for government positions available to do meet and greets, answer questions and concerns, and present their platforms on the center stage. In between the candidates, there will be music provided by a couple of local musicians including Diane Van Dyke.

The majority of the candidates to be present will be Republican, but there will be some nonpartisan as well. It is a great time to get informed and make a difference in these current times in America.

There will be a silent auction with big prizes assembled, including dinners for two, gym memberships, and rounds of golf at local courses. Also, a bake sale will be happening with homemade goods to take home. The event ends at 4:00 pm PST.
