Baseball-wise, Kyler has a season batting average of .383 and has added 15 hits with 18 RBIs. Most importantly his performance during the week right before Spring Break has helped his team continue their momentum and winning streak.

Kyler is originally from Mesquite but moved to Utah for his Junior and part of Senior year to be able to play sports during the pandemic since sports were primarily canceled in Nevada. Returning this semester to Virgin Valley, he played Basketball and now will finish his athletic high school career as a Bulldog.

He plans on going on a mission for his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints after high school graduation and then walk-on to the football team for Southern Utah University when his mission service concludes. He plans on studying Business in college.

Besides sports, he enjoys offroading, boating, and hunting. He loves deer and predator (Coyote) hunting. He is the 2nd oldest of five siblings. He resides with his grandparents Andrew and Janelle Jensen while his parents, Clint and Kelly Sudweeks, reside in St. George, Utah.

“A lot of work has gone into this as I have been getting up at 5 am recently this season,” said Kyler. “I am grateful to my coaches and glad to be back for this better opportunity to be competitive.”

Congratulations Kyler Sudweeks for being named VRT’s The Top Dawg of the Week!
