Please join us in congratulating School Resource Officer Justin Perry for receiving the Best of the Badge award for the month of March.
One of Officer Perry’s primary responsibilities is to foster positive relationships with the students and staff. Because of these relationships, he has been able to assist several students who were in need of mental health services to get the help they need.
Officer Perry’s excellent police work and dedication to the schools have also led to multiple arrests of people who have victimized students and staff members both on and off school property.
In addition to all this, Officer Perry also recently finished teaching the DREAM (Decision, Responsibilities, Education, Achievements, Motivation) Program to 6th graders to help them understand the importance of making goal-oriented life choices.
The department and community are fortunate to have Officer Perry dedicate so much of his time to the youth of Mesquite. Congratulations Officer Perry on a job well done!!
