Clark County Fairgrounds, Logandale, NV-

The Clark County Fair and Rodeo in Logandale, NV starts its last day for the 2022 Fair Year today, Sunday, April 10th at 10:00 am PST, and continues until 9:00 pm PST tonight.

After being gone for a couple of years due to the pandemic, the fair brought entertainment to thousands who found it to be “perfectly nice” to have a big social event. For the first year in many years of hosting the event, the fair has had excellent weather with only a few winds and gusts. Friday and Saturday hit into the lower 90s with sunny skies. Today, Sunday, the weather is predicted by the Weather Channel to be a high of 77°F with a low of 47°F and a wind advisory is in effect for gusts averaging 13 mph.

Last night after the Rodeo, the Legends of Rock gave one extremely impressive performance! Performing to classic rock hits, 80s rock, and more. The group lit the stage on fire and people were rocking and rolling out in the crowd and stands. This was probably the best-attended main concert during the whole week of the fair. A band consisting of Las Vegas natives and one Moapa Valley resident showed the crowd “The Stairway to Heaven” as their songs hit “Paradise City” and gave the audience what they wanted… to sing, dance, and ROCK!

The PRCA Rodeo did not fail as they did their last round before the Championship Round tonight (Sunday). The Livestock Auction also went down without any problems and several local youths saw their hard work in raising livestock pay off as their animals sold. As well as once again, families and children had fun.

For kid-friendly and family-oriented shows and events, attend the mutton-busting, the Birdman show, and the Cool Dog Productions “Trick Dog Thrill Show” are favorites.  The Glen Hardy animal building has all of the farm animals for show and petting for kids as well as educational activities which help them learn the old and current methods of farming and agriculture. The one a lot of kids have enjoyed is the cornshucking manual machine and the “milking” a cow activity.

For adults, many are finding enjoyment at the Rodeo along with the food and shopping vendors and music performances at 2 of the stages; the Plaza Stage and the Showcase Stage. Some are also finding it fun to be a kid again at the carnival and the Stunt Jump. The favorite show for teens and adults has been the Hypnotist Chris Mabrey who has the crowd laughing while playing pranks on them as well.

The best food vendors actually seem to be the local vendors, including the White Boys Tacos (Booth 503), Fired Up Creations (Booth Food 70), and Kuppa Joe (Booth 501). Also, check out Bull Kings (Booth 342) for Rodeo and apparel fans, they donate 25% of their profits to help injured rodeo stars to cover bills and living essentials while injured and recovering.

The big shows today at the Plaza Stage will be Impressionist Mike Walker at 6:00 PM PST and Hypnotist Chris Mabrey at 7:00 PM PST.

The biggest show tonight will be the PRCA Rodeo as the Championship Round is tonight with the best of the best ready to give it their all, bruises, guts, and glory to be crowned champ at the Clark County Rodeo. At the moment, current leaders are as follows:
