We have been working on this since the beginning of the year, but it has finally come time to make it happen. We are still needing financial support for the awards, which include a customized dog tag necklace for the athletes and other Top Dawgs. If interested in sponsoring the Top Dawg awards given out weekly to the top athletes and other high school students, we in turn give advertisement for sponsorships. Call us at (702) 286-5469 or email vrtmedia2021@gmail.com with the Subject “Top Dawg”. We will award one Male Top Dawg and one Female Top Dawg.
MALE TOP DAWG
BRYCE INTAGLIATA - BASEBALL
For Performance during the week of March 20-26, 2022
Bryce is a Sophomore at Virgin Valley High School. He is a left handed pitcher and also outfielder. He also has a very strong presence on offense with his strong batting and base-running knowledge.
This season Bryce has been a powerful presence on both offensive and defensive side of the ball. He is batting a .441 average with 1 HR. He has knocked in 12 RBIs off 15 hits. Over the last week against Pahrump Valley and Valley High School he went 2/3 for .667 Batting Average and 3 Hits. He also recorded 5 stolen bases and Fielding percentage of 1.00.
Bryce was born in Hanna, Indiana in June 2005 and is the youngest of four boys. Bryce moved with his parents to Mesquite from northwest Indiana before his 8th grade school year to escape the cold winters and extend his baseball season. He has played organized baseball and basketball since he was 5 years old. He has also watched all four of his older brothers play sports and it has helped develop his love for baseball and his competitiveness.
Bryce’s long term goal is to play baseball at the collegiate level after high school but hopes to help Virgin Valley Baseball win a state championship title in the short term.
Bryce loves baseball and being named Top Dawg is a great achievement. He works very hard on his conditioning and playing skills so the Top Dawg is very rewarding.
Bryce gives thanks to his parents, especially his mom who has dedicated years to help Bryce compete in Travel Baseball programs and participate in high level skills programs with advanced coaching. He also thanks all of his coaches for providing their time and encouragement and helping to achieve the Top Dawg award.
Coach Dan Wright deserves a special Thank you for being a very influential person in Bryce’s success since the day Bryce arrived in Mesquite.
His parents are Joe and Kelly Intagliata.
