Mesquite, NV-

Bebrave Athletics will celebrate its Grand Opening at its new location Thursday, March 3rd, from 4:00-7:00 pm. The tumbling and trampoline gym is now located at 473 W. Mesquite Blvd.  the old El Rancho Market.)

Although new to this location, Bebrave Athletics has been a part of the Mesquite community for about five years. Co-owners and coaches Haylee Benglan and Paige Woods are Mesquite residents that have been busily preparing the spacious new gym for Thursday’s Grand Opening, which will include light refreshments, a bouncy house, and face-painting for the kids, a raffle prize, and an opportunity to register for classes. There is a retail corner where visitors can browse exclusive BeBrave apparel, ranging from leotards to fashionable leisurewear.

Students of Bebrave Athletics range from 3 years to adult, and there are a variety of classes and pricing options, including open gym, competitive teams, and other classes options. Competitive teams include ages 4 years through 16 years.

250 young athletes who are already members have eagerly anticipated the spacious new location which allows more gymnastic equipment and growing membership. The parents are excited, too, enthusiastic about what coaches Paige and Haylee foster in their children: positive values as well as fitness, courage, and confidence. Many of the students got their start in the sport when Benglan was coaching at the Mesquite rec center. “We started 5 years ago with just 10 students, and interest was so strong we soon needed a larger room than the karate room we started in.”

When asked what they feel accounts for the rapid growth in classes, Benglan and Woods explain that their mission is to promote “a heightened quality of life for all involved with Bebrave Athletics,” adding, “We want to foster character and confidence, kindness and team-building, as well as fitness and all the benefits of being involved in tumbling, trampoline, and cheer,”  like strength, flexibility, coordination, and muscle memory.

They added that they could not have accomplished this new venture without “the support of our families.” Benglan adds, “This includes our Bebrave families of the athletes, who have just embraced our mission and supported us. We are eager to see lots of familiar as well as new faces Thursday!”
