Where is this place in the world? It is nowhere but somewhere south of Russia and to the east of Poland and bordered on the south by the Black Sea. Wherever that is. Why should we care? The only thing we have in common is Hunter Biden. Hunter was able to help them develop their oil and gas resources. For over a million dollars, I’m sure he was instrumental in the development of the country’s resources.

It seems that we are close to war with Russia over this old Russian Provence. Seems Russia still thinks it belongs to them and they want it back. It also seems lots of Russians live there. I guess it’s because it’s on the Black Sea and winters are better there than in Moscow. What does all this have to do with us? Nothing. It is part of eastern Europe and someone in Europe might care, but not us.

If this has no relation to us, why are we making such a big deal about it? Some might have seen a magic trick where they distract you so you do not see what is going on around you. So, if all the news is about Ukraine, we might not notice what is happening at home. That seems like a good idea and things around us are very disturbing, so focusing on Ukraine might take our mind off how bad it is at home.

That’s great I do not have to worry about the price of gas or the crime around us. Do not worry about my shrinking dollar, I can relax and sit back and enjoy a libation, while I can still afford one. I do have to admit I’m looking at prices more and Bailly’s Irish Cream is out. Some other brands are half the price and with coffee, you do not notice, much.

So, we’re sending troops to surrounding countries but why are they not sending their troops? Maybe they are but we have had a lot more recent experience fighting and dying. We may not even lose any boys or girls (I still call them that), just a lot of money. Money is no problem because we can just print more.

Those printers may have to work an extra Sunday or two because they are already committed to every Saturday. They probably will appreciate the extra overtime as their dollar is worth a lot less and next year it will probably be worth even less. Got to pay those increasing energy and grocery bills.

Now that we are focused on something that has no value to us, things will not seem as bad at home and that is a good thing for the party in power. The voters will not notice how bad things have become at home in a little over a year.

  1. Mike Young, so sad and so true. I hope that voters remember this when they go to the polls. I also hope that your message is heard around the world and taken to heart.

    1. Yes Margie, we will remember this November. The party of Ronald Reagan has now become the party of Putin. Reagan is spinning in his grave. We worked for over 50 years to take down the Soviet Union. Now you and Mike want to let Russia take back all the independent countries and reform the Soviet Union. You and Mike should be tried for treason.

  2. Your ignorance of world affairs knows no bounds. A free Democratic country surrounded by our closest allies and putting all of Europe at risk…and you and your traitor Rump support Putin? There is a name for people like you…It is TRAITOR!

    1. John – Sorry you do not understand sending our young boys and girls to die like they did if Afghanistan. They died for nothing. Put Europe at risk? We have been footing the bill for their defense since WWII. If it is important to them, let them stand-up. I’ve served my country and you call me a traitor; you call Trump a traitor when he gave up a billionaire’s lifestyle to serve. You call us traitor because we see the world differently then you. You must be smarter than all of us. PLEASE let us know how to lower gas prices, stop inflation, and crime in the streets, or the invasion from the south border. Help!

  3. Mike you’re right on point! President XI in China is setting back laughing at our idiot that most call president Biden and his clowns making these moves. The sanctions he has put in place have little to no effect on Putin who Biden said he would handle like Trump couldn’t (seems funny how this didn’t happen during Trumps 4 years). China is taking this all in for when it is ready to take Taiwan and I’m sure it will happen during the Biden administration because XI knows Biden doesn’t have the balls to take him on. Biden’s main concern now is keeping this on the Main Street media so like Mike says the people won’t notice how the democrats aren’t doing anything about what is happening here!

    1. Reagan is spinning in his grave as the GOP is supporting Putin over our own country. Deplorable.

      1. David,
I didn’t say I support Putin. I said Biden was weak and the sanctions he put in place had little to no effect on Putin. He doesn’t have the balls to put real sanctions on Putin like sanctioning Putin himself or taking them out of the banking system completely with the Swift system. Trump would have gone right after him not with these weak plays Biden did.

  4. Biden came to office with more foreign policy experience than any president in recent memory but he has no memory of it.
