Accident Causes Temporary Closure of Grapevine Overpass

Mesquite, NV –
At about 5:15 pm, the Mesquite Police Department issued a traffic alert on their social media as Grapevine Rd was temporarily shut down due to a vehicle accident involving two vehicles. One vehicle was a lawncare black truck pulling a box trailer hit by another vehicle pulling out of the nearby apartments, Mesquite Bluffs Apartment Community located at 100 N Grapevine Rd.
Both roads were temporarily closed down as Mesquite Fire and Rescue along with Mesquite Police Department responded to the scene. Those involved were checked out by emergency medical personnel with no serious injuries to report. The black truck and trailer were towed away and Grapevine Rd was reopened by 6:22 pm.
