Our economy is being decimated by the policy of sending all our wealth out of the country or using it to support untold people on welfare.  Today we have a labor shortage because it is smarter for people to be on public assistant than work. But how is all this happening?

When we stop producing something ourselves and buy it overseas you give your money to someone somewhere else in the world. Now we have less money to buy something here and in most cases that money is gone from America forever. When it is a small amount, we call it a trade deficit. When it becomes massive it starves our companies and builders of cash and ultimately, they cannot build business here. So, they go overseas where our cash went and borrow money there to build factories.

So, Americans spend a trillion that leaves the country and some of the life blood of our economy is gone. More leaves when people send remittances back to their home country, it will be spent there never to return. Again, our companies do not have the money to build new factories, or they cannot get an EPA permit, so they build overseas, more money gone to building and to wages forever, oh do not forget the taxes to the other country. But that is the strategy we are following.

Next is inflation that eats away at our economy in a very insidious way.  Money is the life blood of our system and if you just print more of it without any backing it becomes less valuable. Just think about it, if you make something and sell it for $5 a gallon that is the value. Then the government prints more money and gives it away to someone for doing nothing and they want some gas but there is only so much gas, they offer to pay $6 then the value becomes $6 not five. Now the producer wants $6 not five but you have a job that only pays $5 so if you want gas you must give up something you could buy before.

Then the government decided to give free school and even free day care. Where does the money come from, the printing press? Is there value? Of course not, just print and spend and lie to the people that printing money out of white paper does not increase inflation. “No, no more people are employed and will pay taxes”. Yes, some will, but very few, that will be with that valueless white paper. Of course, there will always be more social programs that we “Need”. Cut down a few more trees we need more paper.

Then lastly there is illegal immigration, people who have no skills and may have to be supported forever. But it’s only been a few million this year. “We have so much, and they need it” is the cry, but wait I worked for what I have, now I have to work for them too? Yes, you will, until we run out of trees or ink. If you think all of this is just the natural flow of things keep voting the way you always do. If you think this is a road to disaster, open your eyes and look around.

  1. Mike, you need to travel out of the country. In the last ten years, I have been to every continent and to over 100 countries. Guess what? In every country, in every slum, in every village, people have iphones, Nike shoes, Lebron James shirts, and anything else they can get that is from our country. I have watched Iranian smugglers leaving Oman at sunset with their boats full of American goods. The whole world, the average people, loves us. Do you think we would be as wealthy as we are if we turned our backs on the rest of the world? Who do you think keeps our casino companies in the black? Chinese tourists in Macau. The ones that have helped us become the richest country in the world. If you had your way, India, China, Africa, and every third world country would still be dirt poor. How would that help our country? Who could afford our computers and phones? Our world is but a speck in the universe. The global economy is here to stay. Mike, you are stuck in the 1930’s and 1940’s. If all the world’s countries share in the wealth, who would ever start a war to stop it?

    1. “The manufacture of iPhone mostly takes place in East and Southeast Asia , where the labor force is cheap and abundant. China, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia are the main countries that bear those characteristics and participate in the manufacture of iPhone.”

      1. You confirmed my point. If everyone outside of our country is dirt poor, who will buy our products? Would Apple be a trillion dollar company or just a small company in California. The foreign auto makers have factories here and our companies have factories overseas. Middle class Asians pump billions into the Vegas economy. Starving Asians contribute nothing.

    2. Great Post David; and a good answer. not often I agree with you, but this time you are spot on. I like you have traveled all over the world and what you said re; the other side of the pond is so true !! Have A GOOD Christmas Mr. Petrillo !!

    3. David, I too have been lucky enough to travel some and have seen all the goods you mention in a number of countries, but none of them came from America. Almost all nock-offs from China or the real thing that did not go to America. All the products you mention are not made in America anyway. Both Asia and Europe have major trade restrictions on importing anything made in the USA that is why we must have manufacturing plants there to sell anything. Obviously your travel did not include any economic education. In any small villages you see nothing actually made in America unless it was donated by an America charity. Given freely from charities or through foreign aid, not by stealing from the working taxpayer by sending his/hers job overseas and making them dependent on government handouts.

      1. The bottom line is that we are never going to manufacture stuff that is going to be less expensive if manufactured overseas. Our global corporations are in the profit business. The colonial days are gone forever. Our strength is our brains, not our braun. Our technology is solving the food and water problems in Africa and Asia. Our corporations design and build dams and bridges. Let the Asians and Africans manufacture stuff for the dollar stores.

  2. I never dreamed that I would have to face the prospect of not living in the United States of America, at least not the one I have known all my life. I have never wished to live anywhere else. This is my home and I was privileged to be born here. But today I woke up and as I had my morning coffee, I realized that everything is changing for the worse. No matter how I vote, no matter what I say, no matter how much I pray, something evil has invaded our nation, and our lives are never going to be the same. I have been confused by the hostility of family and friends. I look at people I have known all my life– so hate-filled that they agree with opinions they would never express as their own. I think that I may well have entered the Twilight Zone. We have become a nation that has lost its collective mind and common sense!

    You cannot justify this insanity:

    • If a guy pretends to be a woman, you are required to pretend with him.

    • Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many Americans are in America.

    • Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good.

    • It was cool for Joe Biden to “blackmail” the President of Ukraine.

    • Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to vote.

    • People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.

    • People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans.

    • Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.

    • Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate to the US must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang member or terrorist who jumps the southern fence is welcome.

    • $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $15 trillion for “free” health care is not.

    • If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.

    • If you cheat in an election nothing happens to you, but if you point out the mathematical errors of that election you are a conspiracy theorist & disdained.

    • People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.

    • We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan for us.

    • Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.

    • Criminals are caught-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it’s a violation of their rights.

    • And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us “racists”? ???

Nothing makes sense anymore – no values, no morals, and no civility. People are dying of a Chinese virus, but it’s racist to refer to it as Chinese even though it began in China. We are clearly living in an upside-down world where right is wrong and wrong is right, where moral is immoral and immoral is moral, where good is evil and evil is good, where killing murderers is wrong but killing unborn babies is okay !

Wake up America, the great unsinkable ship Titanic America has hit an iceberg, it’s taking on water, and is sinking fast. We Americans are drowning. Speak up while you still have breath and a voice for soon you will have neither if you don’t!

    1. Mr Thompson. I think you’re exaggerating. I suppose next you’ll be telling us that men are competing on women’s track teams or Nevada’s representative in the Miss Usa pageant is a guy. Oops! Never mind.

    2. Spoken like a true Trumper. Just like your hero, everything you said is either a lie, misinformation, or exaggerated. You also have a difficult time grasping the concept of Respect.

      1. David; your reply was what I was waiting for, as I said nothing in regards to Trump. But you having such a hate toward Trump you had to add his name. Nowhere in this post is anything in regard to Trump, it is the truth. You are watching CNN again aren’t you ?? You need to broaden your knowledge, and look at the real picture. Oh yes, last month in one of my reply’s to you I asked you to tell us all the great things slow Joe has done since he has been in office ?? Still waiting David !!
