Halloween Carnival and Quarter Midget Racing
The Beaver Dam Elementary School hosted a Halloween Carnival on October 29th. Tickets could be purchased for $1, and the tickets were used at each booth. Proceeds benefited the Beaver Dam High School sophomore students to help pay for their Senior Class Trip.
There were games and prizes, a Bounce House and even a Haunted House. A variety of food to feed the hungry ghosts and goblins could also be purchased. The kids were dressed up in costumes and there was a festive air. The weather was perfect for this outdoor venue.

The Beaver Dam Raceway Dirt Track hosted the Southern Nevada Racing Association for the Points Race 2 on November 6th. The racing excitement began with practice and ended with several heat races and then the finals. There was a large turnout of spectators at the track and there were several UTV’s that viewed the action from on top of the hill across the street. Jorges Hot Food truck offered street taco’s for sale.
