“Why are we here? To have FUN!”
This statement by the Karaoke host Gayle Louise started out the evening and she was exactly right. The evening was not only fun, but the music was good and the singers went out of their way to make us feel at home. They stopped by our table and introduced themselves and encouraged us to go up and sing.
I had attended several Karaoke nights last year when they were held at the outside stage but being inside added a lot to the fun. The bar has recently had a renovation and the entire space was open and inviting. One of my favorite things was the fact that they now have a large screen TV that showed the words so that the audience could sing along. The music stretched the decades as well as the genres, so there was something for everyone to enjoy. There was even a dance floor so you could enjoy the music while dancing with your sweetheart.
If you have never been to Karaoke night then I would encourage stopping by and checking out this one. It will get you hooked and who knows, you might even want to get up and sing your heart out.
You can catch the action each Wednesday from 5:30 to 9 PM, Arizona time.
The Red Wagon Food Truck was open, so you could have a little dinner before getting up to sing your favorite song.
