The Virgin Valley High School Bulldog football team continued their offensive display and defensive toughness with a convincing 48-18 win Friday night over the Pahrump High School Trojans. The Bulldogs have outscored their first three opponents by a 142-18 combined.

The Bulldogs were led by quarterback Gavin Brown who went 17-20 of completions for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns and wide receiver Jimmie Kelley who was on the receiving end of eight completions. Bulldog workhorse Ethan Workman and Kellen Dugan led the ground attack with 107 yards and 100 yards respectively. Workman had another blue collar day adding 11 tackles from his linebacker position. Martin Jordan had a pick six touchdown to spark the defense in the second half of play.

Jordan began the second half of the game with a pick six extending the Bulldogs lead. Brown followed with a keeper for six more and Workman ended the period with a 15 yard rushing touchdown. Reserves pretty much mopped up for the Bulldogs in the fourth period. The Dawgs Jared Jensen tacked on one more score on a 2 yard pass from Brown.
